Deliveries during Coronavirus

After a period of assessment by our upper management, our warehouse team will return to work, at a reduced level, as of Monday 6th April.

Government guidelines actively encourage online retailers to stay open in order to avoid people gathering around locations, and to help support the UK’s delivery networks, but we had to make sure the health and safety of our staff and customers was put first before re-opening.

As of now, you can place an order with Wet Walls & Ceilings and deliveries will commence operating from Monday 6th April onwards. Please note, that due to the reduced level of warehouse staff there may be a slight delay in receiving your orders by a couple of days and there will be no Next Day Delivery option available.

All Wet Walls & Ceilings showrooms will remain closed, however local trade customers are welcome to collect orders from our Hillington warehouse by appointment only and on selected days and times. Please call 0141 882 8275 or email info@wetwallsandceilings.co.uk for further information.

Sample orders will be posted every few days, and these will be delivered as per usual by Royal Mail.

Free Mainland UK Delivery

UK Standard FREE Delivery is applied to any single transaction with a value of over £199, delivery cost excluded, placed on the website.

Certain exclusions currently apply:

  • The delivery address is in a remote area that is not covered by TNT’s courier service and requires a premium postal method.
  • Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland is not eligible for Free Delivery.

Orders placed Monday to Friday - We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1pm on the same day, subject to full credit card authorisation and availability of stock.

Order placed after 1pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - We dispatch parcels daily from Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

Deliveries are expected to arrive with UK customers within 2 to 3 working days. A working day is Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Please note that this service does not include a tracking number.

* Mainland UK excludes the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Delivery options and charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and destination. For full details please refer to our Delivery Services and Charges at checkout.

Standard Delivery [Mainland UK only] £29.95

Please allow between 2 to 3 working days* from dispatch for your order to arrive by TNT. Standard Delivery is available to Mainland UK customers only.

Next Day Delivery [Mainland UK only] £49.95

Deliveries are expected to arrive the next working day for orders placed on Monday to 1 pm on Friday. Please note that we do not have a mail collection on Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed after 1 pm on Friday or any time during Saturday and Sunday will not be dispatched until Monday. Next Day Delivery is available to Mainland UK customers only.

Next Day delivery will not apply if:

  • They were unable to deliver the item because there was no one to sign for your item.
  • The delivery address is in an area of the UK where TNT does not guarantee next day delivery.
  • We do not guarantee the delivery time for items to an address for which a person has paid for Royal Mail redirection services. The item will be forwarded to the new address using Special Delivery. 

Scottish Highlands £59.95

Samples £0.99

    Please allow between 2 to 3 working days* from dispatch for your Sample Tiles order to arrive by Royal Mail Standard mail. Please note that this service does not include a tracking number.

    Conditions

    Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.

    Delivery is subject to stock availability and having full credit card authorisation.

    In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and you may consider the following options:

    • Cancel your order and a full refund will be issued.
    • Choose an alternative that we have in stock.
    • We can despatch your order as soon as we receive new stock.

    If the address that you state as your billing address online does not match the address your card is registered to there may be a delay in the dispatch of your parcel. We cannot be held responsible for any delay and will not refund postage charges.

    * We aim to meet these delivery times but during busy periods (including Sale, Black Friday, Christmas etc.) deliveries may take a little longer. During spells of bad weather, conditions may mean that these delivery services aren’t available, or that order cut-off times need amending and/or delivery times need to be extended. However, we will always work hard to keep these temporary changes to a minimum.
